Liberian President Joseph Boakai, in his 2025 New Year message delivered during the Peace Tournament in Tubmanburg, Bomi County, urged citizens to prioritize unity, reconciliation, and youth empowerment for a brighter future.
Speaking at the event hosted by the JNB Foundation, Boakai commended Liberia’s progress over the years and emphasized the pivotal role of education and collaboration in fostering sustainable peace.
He assured Liberians of his administration’s commitment to creating opportunities for the youth, who he described as the nation’s most valuable asset.
The Peace Tournament, a celebration of Liberia’s achievements and resilience, brought together diverse communities, highlighting the importance of collective efforts in nation-building.
Boakai encouraged citizens to continue working together to ensure the country remains on a path of stability, development, and inclusivity.
