Health authorities in Côte d’Ivoire have closed 153 illegal health facilities across regions including Gbêkê, Loh Djiboua, Bélier, San-Pedro, and Nawa as part of the “Zero Illegal Clinics by 2025” campaign.
The initiative, led by the Directorate of Private Health Facilities and Health Professions (DEPP), aims to eradicate unregistered and unregulated clinics that operate without oversight and jeopardize patient safety.
Authorities reaffirmed their commitment to enforcing stricter healthcare regulations to safeguard public health and uphold medical standards in the country.
