Ghana’s Electoral Commission (EC) has recruited over 200 professionals specializing in mathematics, statistics, and quantitative fields in a strategic effort to boost operational efficiency and uphold election integrity.
These experts are expected to enhance data accuracy and reinforce the credibility of electoral results.
Dr. Eric Bossman Asare, the Deputy Chairperson of the EC, shared details of this initiative in a media interview on Tuesday.
He emphasized that the newly hired specialists will play a critical role in preventing data discrepancies through precise data collation, vote tabulation, and statistical analysis.
