Ghana’s Electoral Commission (EC) has made slight revisions to the 2024 ballot statistics in response to decisions by District Registration Review Officers (DRROs), High Courts, and updates following the Re-Exhibition of the Provisional Voters Register.
The adjustments impact 20 polling stations, necessitating the printing of additional ballot booklets, the EC stated in a press release on Monday.
The revised ballot statistics, along with a list of affected polling stations, have been shared with Political Parties, Independent Presidential Candidates, and designated Printing Firms.
The EC has also provided a detailed schedule of these changes for public reference, underscoring its commitment to transparency and accuracy in the upcoming December 2024 elections.
The Electoral Commission urged the public to be aware of these updates as part of its ongoing efforts to ensure a smooth and transparent electoral process.
