The Ghanaian government has finalized three major agreements with the Government and Hospital Pharmacists’ Association (GHOSPA), the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), and the Ghana Atomic Energy Commission (GAEC) under the Public Services Workers Union (PSWU).
These agreements, aimed at enhancing working conditions and tackling long-standing issues, were signed in separate meetings with each association.
Representing the government, the Chief Executive of the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission (FWSC), Ing.
Benjamin Arthur, underscored the government’s dedication to maintaining a constructive partnership with public sector workers.
“These agreements demonstrate our commitment to fostering a harmonious and productive working relationship with our public sector workers,” he stated, noting that these were important milestones reflecting the government’s responsiveness to workers’ concerns.
Each agreement marks a step towards stability and increased satisfaction among public service employees, promoting a more sustainable working environment across Ghana’s public sector institutions.
