The Gambia’s State House has confirmed that Ghanaian President John Dramani Mahama will arrive in Banjul on Friday for a one-day working visit.
President Adama Barrow will welcome President Mahama at the Banjul International Airport before hosting him at a state luncheon in his honor.
The visit will feature a private meeting between the two leaders to discuss strategies for strengthening bilateral relations between The Gambia and Ghana.
This visit follows President Barrow’s attendance at President Mahama’s inauguration in Accra on January 7, 2025, marking an ongoing commitment to fostering cooperation between the two West African nations.
