John Mahama has been sworn in as the 14th President of Ghana, becoming the first non-consecutive president in the Fourth Republic after a landslide victory in the December 2024 elections.
The inauguration ceremony, held at the iconic Black Star Square in Accra, marked a historic return for Mahama.
He also made history by appointing Ghana’s first-ever elected female Vice President, Prof. Jane Nana Opoku-Agyemang.
