The Liberian government has initiated a Mass Medicine Administration (MMA) campaign to tackle Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) and promote preventive healthcare across the country.
Led by the Ministry of Health, the campaign was launched at the Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Ministerial Complex in Monrovia, gathering key stakeholders, government officials, and health advocates to discuss effective strategies for engaging the public.
The campaign emphasizes the critical role of awareness and education in community health.
Through coordinated efforts, the initiative aims to empower Liberian communities with knowledge and preventive tools, reflecting a broader commitment to sustainable change similar to other impactful programs, such as coding education for youth.
By addressing NTDs through education and outreach, Liberia is investing in healthier, more resilient communities across generations.
