Over 100 aggrieved workers of Liberia’s National Elections Commission (NEC) staged a protest, demanding the resignation of Chairperson Davidetta Browne-Lansanah.
The protesting workers accused the chairperson of corruption and a lack of accountability, which they claim have undermined the effective functioning of the commission.
This demonstration amplifies existing concerns about governance and transparency within Liberia’s electoral body as the country prepares for critical elections.
