Meet The African Representatives At Miss Supranational 2024

Ghana

Abigail Kabirou, a UK-based fashion model originally from the Northern Region of Ghana, is known for her elegance and poise. She previously won Miss Interglobal UK in 2020 and is celebrated for her fashion sense, often seen in stunning gowns and impeccable makeup.

Abigail has a strong following on social media, where fans have shown great support for her participation in international pageants.

Côte d’Ivoire

Representing Côte d’Ivoire Marie-Louise Maitre, is a 26-year-old with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Hult International Business School in London.

Standing at 1.83 meters tall, Marie-Louise is committed to promoting Ivorian culture and positively influencing her community through her participation in the pageant.

She is dedicated to representing her nation with passion and determination.

 

Botswana

Representing Botswana Leah Khumo Barobetse ‘s journey includes a month-long stay in Poland, where she will participate in various pre-pageant activities and visit tourist attractions.

She is actively involved in her advocacy project, “AHEARTCAN” (PeloBokgoni), which aims to end the stigma against people living with disabilities and provide platforms for them to showcase their talents and skills.

Leah believes in the potential of every individual to achieve their goals as long as they have a heartbeat.

Nigeria

Sectra Sede Okundaye, born in Edo State, Nigeria, and currently residing in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, has a notable career as a nurse, model, and philanthropist. She founded the nonprofit organization Angels Touch World, which supports orphans and low-income students in Nigeria by providing school supplies and daily necessities.

Sectra also created ABC Health, aiming to educate individuals and families on improving their health cost-effectively.

Her pageant journey began with a win in a Miss Teen pageant in 2011, continuing with notable titles such as Miss South Boston USA 2023 and Princess America National 2022. She was crowned Miss Supranational Nigeria on September 10, 2023, at the Miss Universe Nigeria 2023 event, where she emerged 1st Runner-Up.

Sierra Leone

Mabinty Mansaray, also known as “MAB~Mans,” is a student in Paris and the reigning Miss Sierra Leone France.

Originally from Koinadugu district in Sierra Leone, she is passionate about gender equality and children’s rights.

Mabinty founded the Mimasisindea Charity Foundation in Sierra Leone to improve the lives of those in need.

She has been recognized for her contributions to the modeling and beauty pageant industry, including being named AWOL Continental Europe’s Most Inspiring Miss Sierra Leone and winning the Best International Model at the Salone Fashion Awards 2023.

South Africa

Bryoni Govender, the runner-up of Miss South Africa 2023 and a qualified lawyer, will represent South Africa at Miss Supranational 2024 in Poland.

Renowned for her impressive performance in the Miss Universe pageant, where she ranked in the top 20, Bryoni is committed to empowerment and resilience.

She leads the initiative “Her Way Out,” focusing on educating individuals about their legal rights and advocating for women’s empowerment.
