The Nigerian government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Brazil’s Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) to enhance private-sector participation in its agricultural sector.
The MoU, signed during the G20 Leaders’ Summit in Rio de Janeiro, is set to inject $4.3 billion into critical areas of agricultural development, including: Fertilizer Productionn, Hybrid Seed Technology, Agricultural Financing, Transforming Agriculture and Economy, this strategic partnership aims to revolutionize Nigeria’s agricultural sector, enhancing productivity, fostering economic diversification, and strengthening food security.
The collaboration reflects both nations’ commitment to leveraging innovation and private investment to unlock the full potential of Nigeria’s agriculture industry.
