Nigeria to Co-Host 2025 Sports Africa Investment Summit

The Nigerian National Sports Commission (NSC) has confirmed its role as a co-host and partner for the 2025 Sports Africa Investment Summit (SAIS), which will now take place on February 17 and 18, 2025.

NSC Chairman, Mallam Shehu Dikko, explained that the postponement to the new date reflects the Commission’s commitment to aligning the summit with its renewed vision while maximizing public sector engagement.

He noted that the extra time will facilitate better resource mobilization, foster collaborations, and showcase leadership in sports investment.

Under the theme “Unlocking Africa’s Potential: Investing in Sports Infrastructure for a Sustainable Future,” SAIS 2025 aims to bring together policymakers, investors, and industry leaders. The event will focus on transformative strategies to harness Africa’s economic opportunities through sports development.

As an annual gathering, SAIS is dedicated to creating a sustainable sports ecosystem in Africa by promoting partnerships and investments for the development of sports infrastructure at all levels.
