The Nigerian Air Force has reportedly neutralized 50 terrorists, including senior leader Bashir Dauda, in targeted air operations against Daesh-affiliated fighters in Borno State’s Marte region.
According to Air Force Spokesperson Olusola Akinboyewa, the operation on October 31 focused on three strategic Daesh installations, resulting in the destruction of several terrorist depots alongside the significant neutralization of personnel.
This latest offensive forms part of Nigeria’s broader campaign against armed groups, including Boko Haram and Daesh affiliates, which have posed ongoing security challenges in various regions across the country.
