Nigerian Government Pledges to Strengthen Education Sector

The Nigerian Government has reaffirmed its dedication to enhancing the country’s educational sector through a series of initiatives aimed at creating a more supportive environment for education.

This commitment was highlighted by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Chief Barrister Nyesom Wike, during the 2024 Graduation Ceremony of the Nigerian Tulip International Colleges (NTIC).

Represented by the Head of Service of the FCT, Dr. Udo Samuel Atang, Wike emphasized that Abuja will intensify efforts and boost collaborations to tackle emerging challenges in schools across the territory.

Wike praised NTIC for its significant role in shaping the future of Nigerian youth through its exemplary educational programs. He acknowledged the school’s contributions to the educational landscape and its impact on student development.

The event also featured the presentation of awards to outstanding students, including the best graduating students in Arts and Science and the top performer in the 2024 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examinations.
