During a public discussion on transportation held in Diamniadio, near Dakar, he underscored the modernization of the transport sector and the improvement of road safety as top priorities for his government.
President Faye acknowledged the measures already taken to boost road safety and praised the efforts of authorities and transport professionals in their work to enhance infrastructure safety and improve accident response systems.
He emphasized the significance of collaboration between stakeholders in finding lasting solutions.
The five-day discussions are part of a broader initiative to engage various sectors in developing a sustainable and innovative transport system for Senegal, covering road, rail, and air transportation.
