The Sierra Leone Police have announced a major breakthrough in the investigation into the killing of journalist Samuel Brima Mattia.
The primary suspect, Joseph M. Lamin, who serves as the Station Manager of a national radio station, has confessed to the crime.
According to police reports, Lamin admitted to hiring individuals, including one identified as Morlai, to carry out the killing of his deputy, Samuel Brima Mattia.
Authorities have confirmed the swift arrest of the alleged hired killers, who are now cooperating with the on-going investigation.
