Mali-based civic tech organization, Tuwindi, is spearheading efforts to promote peaceful coexistence, conflict resolution, and social cohesion across Africa using technological innovations. Founder and CEO Tidiani Togola announced this initiative during the launch of a new partnership with the US peacebuilding organization, Search for Common Ground, which is also active in Mali.
Togola emphasized that this collaboration will not only support peace and social cohesion but also foster responsible citizenship and create a safer digital space for all.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two organizations aligns with their shared values and aims to create innovative projects with a positive impact on communities.
Francis Sala Diakanda Nimba, West Africa Regional Director for Search for Common Ground, echoed these sentiments, stating that the partnership would help in creating opportunities for peacebuilding through technology.
This collaboration is expected to strengthen ties between communities, using tech-based solutions to create lasting peace across the region.
