The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) According to it 2023 survey conducted in Liberia said alarming statistics have emerged regarding drug consumption in the country.
The survey reveals that over one million individuals are reportedly using one or two types of drugs and other hazardous substances.
In response to this pressing issue, the United States Office on Drugs and Crime has underscored the critical need for international collaboration to combat Liberia’s drug crisis.
Emphasizing the importance of partnerships, the US office has highlighted the necessity for coordinated efforts between international allies and Liberia to effectively tackle the escalating challenges posed by drug abuse.
